Doubles moved indoors. Em and Ksenia had a set point at *6-5 40-40, but lost it and Freya and Laura took the breaker and won 76(4) 64
Em about to drop out the top 200 in doubles. Not something I expected to happen this year. Lost too many close ones on the main tour, could easily be well up around 120 again if those had been closed out. Frustrating
Nice continuation of form for Laura, and nice for Freya to end a lean trip to North America with a little run.
I wondered why the doubles was unavailable on the live scores, but Laura's momentum continues with Singles and Doubles semis to come tomorrow. A shame for Emily but I'm pleased to see Laura and Freya partner up in a few tournaments and starting to get some good results.
Their semi-final opposition looked quite useful in dispatching Tara & Melanie in the first round.

What a week for Laura, toughie today, Sramkova's form looks very good.
Sramkova has put together the sort of run that Laura will need to do to get back up in the rankings. Sramkova has a 49-15 record this year which is an impressive level of consistency. If Laura plays like she did yesterday, it will be a good match.
They just had a lady sing the Star Spangled Banner, and the ball kids lined up around the court. 3 of them did not put their hands over their hearts. The Olympic gymnastics ceremonies have led me to believe this now to be a shooting offence in America. {insert outrage here}
