That's a pity, she has been improving steadily. Wonder if she'll withdraw from the doubles. She is entered for Sutton next week, won't be playing before Wednesday though.

Sam and Mana won [10-8] last night to make the SF

And, today, Katy and Barbora joined them in the SF with an easy 6-1 6-2 victory over a Canadian pairing

They're in different halves, so we could get representation on both sides in the final.

The singles form might be in a lull, but there's nothing wrong with Sam's doubles, as she makes The final with Mana
SF: Murray/Ayukawa (GBR/JPN) [4] d. Zhao/Routliffe (CAN) 7-5 6-0

A $25K doubles title would be a very nice compensation!
