A brave effort from Suzy, she got to within two points of victory in the second set, but the experienced player ran away with the decider. 6-1 6-7(3) 0-6

Pity.

But I do detect from Suzy's general scorelines much potential upside in her ranking over the coming months apart from just playing tournaments as she has will build up points.

Will probably now move into the 800s on Monday week as another step along that road.
