Yes, and she's also a pace or so over from the centre line. In the Australian Open, she was consistently perilously close to foot faulting.
I think the commentator is a bit cheeky with 5, but her standards have at time been so high, I think 6˝ is about right. Had she needed more, I think she would have had it.

Garcia has played most of her best tennis in South/Central America; titles, finals, and semi-finals from many tournaments, clay & hard.
Like the BBC commentary said, Jo will need to start that match, as she finished this one.

If she had taken those early breakpoints, I bet the commentators would have given her 7 or 8. But in the end, a comfortable win, with plenty in reserve.

Serena and Venus might be No1 seeds due to their singles rankings, but with a CR of 70, they are just behind Safarova and Strycova at CR of 61. And guess who look the better pair
