Still on serve so far, I'd hate to see how some of the media would spin it if Johanna loses this one.

Need better commentators, they are saying what a tough match this is going to be - have ye no faith ?

Courts and conditions really not suiting Jo, the slow pace and high bounce blunting her game. This could be close. Half of Liechtenstein in the stands, it seems. *1-2

I though Liechenstein had a bigger population than 40 ?

Finally Jo gets the break for *3-2. Vogt had to serve 55 times in her three servoce games (not counting any lets).
ANd a love service game takes it to 4-2*

After a slow start, very steady from Jo, and claims the first set comfortably. García awaits the winner, and Caro has decent form on these type of South American courts. 6-3

If Jo had taken the break points early on (2 out of 10), I think she would have run away with this by now. And the commentator reckons she's playing at 5 out of 10 right now ?

Perhaps not the most important observation, but has Jo has shortened her pre-ball toss ritual? Just the three high bounces and one low one now - I'm sure there used to be four.

I stopped watching as it's getting late, but she usually does 4+1 for the 1st serve, then 3+1 for the 2nd serve.
