In one sense, yes, the fatigue.
But, the matches from the top half of the women's singles - already much weaker - are still scheduled to be played today in the evening session. If they get to complete today, and the bottom half have to play twice in a day, alongside their, on paper, very much tougher match ups, then it's quite a big advantage to that half of the draw come the final reckoning.
I think on balance still a stroke of luck for Jo with the postponement. Playing Kerber is tough enough as it is, without it being the day after a 3 hour marathon. At least now she has a fair chance.
With all QF matches cancelled they are a day behind schedule, but there was a spare day between the SFs scheduled for Thursday and the medal matches for Saturday so as of now should be no need to double up singles. Indeed they could also play on Sunday when the men's final is scheduled. The men being still at the L16 stage no longer have any further leeway if to finish on time.
Be interesting what fall-out there is in the mixed. Well as interesting as anything in the mixed ever gets. Could get a bit bizarre, especially if more bad weather.

Jo looks a bit heavy legged, a bit low energy, serve not working quite well enough, lots of unforced errors, and Kerber being effortlessly efficient. All that results in 1-4*
Who is commentating by the way?! 'Konta has only won 3 out of 7 points behind her second serve, so exactly a third' ...WTF? BBC commentators have been awful during this event
