Week 32 - Olympic Tennis Competition - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil - Hard

Keys, Kasatkina and Konta through so far in the bottom half. Can't see Stosur winning with a surname like that.

Hey it's the K show again

Would probably like Stosur to break in though.

Impressive that Jo is now good enough to beat a top ten player even when not close to her best. Though it was a bit of a scrappy match, the run of points Jo put together from 5-5 0-40 in the decider was brilliant and ultimately swung the match her way.

Came from *5-5 15-40 in the second set as well with a great end to that set turning a very dangerous position with very good play when it mattered.

It's the all K show, as Angie, looking pretty awesome, dispatches Stosur 0 & 5, in exactly half the time Jo spent on court.

Serena out, in straight sets!
Hev gave Elina more trouble!
Top half: Svitolina, Kvitova, Puig, Siegemund
Bottom Half: Keys, Kasatkina, Konta, Kerber

Somewhat lop-sided!

Well if you thought some of our players have serving problems, you should watch a replay of Serena's last two serving games. 5 DF in one game !

Busy day for Jo tomorrow, first up on court 1 for her singles and then 5th up on court 3 for the Mixed. She will be knackered!

Serena was clearly suffering from a shoulder injury. Maybe she shouldn't have played but she loves the Olympics. Anyone left in the draw would have beat her tonight

Awesome from Johanna!
What a shame there are no points here.

Hmm. Seems as if Kei Nishikori isn't the only 'Special K' left in the Olympics!

Well done to Ms Konta. She's really establishing herself as a force.

A lot of rain today might help her with a bit extra time to recover.
