WC as noted elsewhere for Juan Martin del Potro, may he be on the other side of Mr Murray's draw and far from any of the others. And much debate on the US Twitter feeds, as there were eight US men ranked between 103 and 125, of whom only three got WCs. (Of the others, one went to Australia; one to JMDP; one to the university champion; one to the juniors champion; and one to the winner of the Challenger series before the US Open) Difficult position and can see debates around those selected for the three 'free' WCs, but correct decision in terms of the numbers: really couldn't not give a WC to a former champion returning in such spectacular fashion.

Laura Deigman has withdrawn from the Spain 25K, though is currently still on the list OK for the Belgium 10K the previous week.
The China 25K is looking overall pretty weak with Harriet at #5 on the acceptance list. She would have been #16 on the Spain 25K list ( where Mandy is #11 ).
So Dom Inglot playing with Marin Draganja (one off a seeding), Evans with Kyrgios, and - obviously - J Murray and Bruno Soares. And Fleming 2nd alt with Fyrstenberg. Do indeed hope that they get in.

Martin Draganja is WR 139 so there is no chance that he and Dom will be seeded. They are no doubt using his PR for entry but that won't count for seeding.

Harriet is now playing the British Tour event at Paddington instead.....
Curious choice. Harriet (361) is seeded 1, Eve Siska (1134) seeded 2. Not certain what Harriet will gain from playing a Tier 2 tournament, especially as she may be playing a 25k in Texas in a couple of weeks.
