Spain has sent a few boys over to Dundalk, but otherwise it is virtually an Anglo-Irish preserve, with Harry Butler top seeding the boys and Summer Yardley seeded 2 in the girls. Full draws at http://www.itftennis.com/juniors/tournaments/tournament/info.aspx?tournamentid=1100037288
Particularly well done to MJ - still only 13. I assumed these would be her first points but on checking see she also won a couple of rounds in Edinburgh. Have seen her play and quite impressed. Plenty of time I know to fall out of love with the sport at that age but I'd say one to watch.
Yes, will be interesting to see MJ's path - there's been a bit of hype about her - as you say, she's very young but good to see talent coming through.
In fact, we've got MJ and Holly Fischer, two of our best 2003s, playing ITFs this week. As well as Emma Rad, Holly Staff etc. in the 2002s, and a heap of 2001s.......
All very exciting.....
