I think that Tara's American tour is all about singles points. She has 7 counters under 9 and is net +8 for this week which should be worth a few places. One win away from 18 which would be a very nice jump.

That win puts Tara's 3-year-old career high (183 on 12 Aug 2013) under serious threat - another win would make sure she takes it out on Monday week, though she might have done so already.

Yay, reaching the SF takes Tara to 301 ranking points and should have her near her CH 183 from 2013. Would depend on how all the points shake out when these ones are added a week on Monday.

One way to pretty well make sure of a new CH is to win the SF and then might as well win the final as well

Edit : as pretty much said 8 seconds earlier with less waffle.

I remember Tara got injured last year but I don't think I ever realised that she'd actually dislocated her ankle:
