I'd heard of William Flavell before but how he got a QWC here is anyone's guess. He has lost his last 11 matches in Futures qualifying but did get a QR1 win in Bol in August 2014.
Still, it's not nearly as odd as when Robert Dee, Adam Lownsbrough and Paul Brighten got main draw wild cards for far-off Challengers in the days when Challenger R1 losses were worth an ATP ranking point.

well it appears he has had a junior world ranking so is probably slightly underrated
