 singles?

Erm...  I am beset by repetitious tautology.
Yes: Mirabelle is about the seventh Brit lady this week playing doubles with a player they either defeated, or were defeated by, in the singles; her partner this week is Ms. Chamarthi.

Great comeback from Mirabelle in the final set from 0-2 to win 6-3. If I've read the momentum right, only dropped 9 points in the last 7 games

Was just a bit curious that Mirabelle wasn't seeded here having been #6 on the acceptance list and her ranking not having moved that much.

Err, main draw seeds 1,2, 4 & 6 weren't on the acceptance list and came through qualifying generally with ease. And those that lay in their way - tough luck.

Yes, I noticed that too - I had her as a potential seed on the T25 table so checked for an explanation when she wasn't seeded.

Mirabelle has got the better of all the seeds though - none of them have made the SFs and the Njoz is the highest-ranked player still standing!

Fifth SF for Mirabelle, third in the last two months even though she has generally seemed less consistent this year. Hopefully coming together.

A first final would be really good, but don't see it coming easily. Good chance it would take out her CH 599 on Monday week.
