Tough draw for a seed in a 10k R1. The good news is it isn't going to get harder after R1 - nobody ranked <500.

Scholsen is the girl that Sam Murray hammered back in Egypt in May.

She's not been dong too well recently, by the look of it.

Em Arb is also second seed in the dubs and has a BYE in R1.

Would be good to see Sam pick up her form again since the time she achieved the possibly unique British distinction of being at Wimbledon qualifying as a leading alt rather than a WC.

Yes, she is indeed using her PR. Sorry for diverting into Sam territory when she's elsewhere. Chance to put the sisterhood ahead 15-14 for the top 500. Fair bit to go, but nothing that a 50K SF wouldn't sort.
