Week 30 - Georgia F1 ($10,000) - Telavi (clay)

This'll be short & sweet:

There's more ...

R1: Dan Dowson WR 941 vs (8) Gabriel Petit (FRA) WR 915 (CH 895 last week)

The winner of this match plays the winner between two qualifiers.

Still short & sweet, I'm afraid:

L32:  (8) Gabriel Petit (FRA) WR 915 defeated Dan Dowson WR 941 by 6-4 7-6(5)  cry

That tie-break could so easily have been 0-6, had Dan not somehow hauled himself back into the match.

And the thread that refuses to lay down and die

The lads have made it into the doubles as ALTs

True, they've lost the first set, 1-6.

But they're *3-1 up in the second.

C'mon boys - this thread needs you !

I think this result finally spells the end of this thread!

R1:  Thomas Fancutt & Mitchell Willaim Robins (AUS/AUS) CR 1782 (591+1191) defeated (ALT) James Allemby & Dan Dowson CR 2483 (1722+761) by 6-1 2-6 [11-9]

Close, though. hmm

OK, granted ...

This thread is no more. It has ceased to be. It's expired and gone to meet its maker. This is a late thread. It's a stiff. Bereft of life it rests in peace. It's run down the curtain and joined the bleedin choir invisible. This is an ex-thread !
