Great to see Em getting that Q2 win :D

We need her back inside the top 500; I'm hoping for 14 of our women inside the benchmark by year end which would be the best since 2000 and quite a turnaround from the all time low of 8 at year end 2015 :)

There appear to be 6 vacant slots in the MD, so unless I'm mistaken which of course I could be, that may mean 2 LL spots as well as 4 qualifiers.

What are the current rules for LL?

The current LL rule for ITFs is a random draw among all ranked players who have lost in the FQR (followed by unranked FQR losers and then previous round losers if necessary)

So basically if 2 of our seeded players in FQR ( Laura, Freya, and Katy ) lose, they'll still pick up places in the MD, Em's the only one likely to miss out if she loses.

As I read it, there will be a random draw between all four FQR losers for the two places - all are ranked - seeding doesn't count.

I'm a bit brain dead this morning, mistook ranked for seeded, so yes it's 50/50 if we have any Brit losers today.

Interesting doubles match between half of Team Moostach and half of Team Santa versus Freya and Laura.

Very pleased to see, on Twitter, Freya and Laura drenched in practice-court sweat. If they stay together, they might both benefit.

Sadly looks like they aren't turning the stream on until the main draw matches for the ladies.

All 4 now underway in 80% humidity

Em broken in her first service game from 40-15, which has been a pretty regular pattern this year up until Sunday and a signal she wasn't going to have a good serving day! Think Rogowska will come through this one quite comfortably.

Don't know much about Ferrando but hopefully Freya can get going.

Laura manages to get through two service games with only one double. Long may that continue!

Heard some good things about Minnen, another tough match for Katy today in store.
