I approve of flocking - in particular I think it makes sense for players of a similar level to form into doubles pairs, and plan their tournament entries, accomodation, travel and coaching as a pair.

Yes. Although it doesn't have to be flocking by nationality.
Quite a few of the girls are based (full or part time) in Spain now (Laura S is, also Beth; Lucy was) so they have contacts and friends and support from other players too.
And I think there's lots to be said to forming friendships and double partnerships and room-sharing arrangements etc. with non-Brits - it makes the tour a far easier place.
But you definitely need it, one way or another: unless you travel with your mum/coach/whatever, it's a really lonely road out there (and expensive) unless you have someone to share things with.
Jazzamay will now move to at least 10 points on Monday week, which should ensure that all the GB top 25 are again within the top 1000.
( young Georgina Axon was so close in Estonia to getting her ranking on 10 points and probably would be ahead of Jazzamay on tiebreak but just missed out in her R1 match ).
