Just looked over the draw, all four girls are in the same quarter, but with the 5th qualifying seed and a wild card plus the two seeded players making up the section. Laura D has the hardest match, but any one of the other players could make it through
A few posts far from generally convinced of the so-called "flocking" issue.
Here it's not that bad a quarter and for Laura S playing Lucy, the winner against seed 8 or qualifier, that is a good draw for each of them. Laura D is unlucky to get the second seed, but that's not caused by flocking.
I guess that the issue is really that while many may generally prefer our players kept in seperate area of the draws it's not as if here each was at all likely to storm through the draw if that was the case.

Points taken but, given that the Turkish 10ks are cancelled for a fair while, this issue is not going to get any better.

It's not a bad draw at all, just unfortunate. But the second seed is currently ranked at 484, so on current form Laura D stands a good chance. And the no 8 seed is ranked 716, so I reckon there is a good chance of one of them getting through the section.
When British players go to the same event, it's only us - really - who dislike them being drawn together (on the ultra optimistic idea that both could win, if not drawn together).
But each British player just wants to win, against whoever.
So Laura S and Lucy Brown must be absolutely thrilled - they've both got excellent first-round draws - couldn't be better.
Jazzamay too.
It's only Laura D who's got a comparatively tough one this week.
As to further in, three qualifiers (including a LL) can't 'expect' to get much further so if they do that's just great, whatever.
Today's matches (follow one another, all on court 2, not before 11:30 local time)

Very solid performance from Jazz, only dropping 7 points on serve in the whole match, including 4 DF.
First point of the week in the bag
