Really good week for Jonny and now into his second final, having lost out in a final set TB to Lloyd in Greece in April and Lloyd continues to show his quality.

Reaching the final should take Jonny's ranking up to around the 560s on Monday week, winning that first title to around the 530s

Steven pointing out that:

Steven @GBtennis

"Castelo Branco 10K ctd: Ocleppo was a practice partner for Rafa at Monte Carlo when he was just 16, so presumably a pretty good young player"

The Italian lad is 18 now

Great work from Jonny and his travelling goat fan club. Hoping he can take that next step tomorrow and clinch his first title at this level. Just a shame Rich missed out by a whisker from joining him, with the only (very small) consolation being that I won't have any split loyalties for the final.

Go Jonny.

Not to be. But that has to be one of the wierdest MTBs ever. The guys were 0-5 down, then won 8 points in a row and had 2 MPs at 9-7 before losing 12-10.

This is one for the statos.  Is that a record ?  Most consecutive points won in a losing TB.  I mean there can't be many people who won 8 points in a row in an MTB and still lost it.
