So in the 18 yos battle ...

SF: (2) Emily Arbuthnott WR 634, JCH 30 lost to Anastasia Zarytska (UKR) WR 943 (CH 937 in June), JCH 21

Pity. But winning just 38% of first serve points ( and 47% of second serves ) tends to lead to being broken 8 times. In these circumstances remarkable that she was a point from going set all.

Still will go to a new CH and her doubles final still to come in partnership with her singles conqueror.

Final

(2) Emily Arbuthnott & Anastasia Zarytska (UKR) CR 1555 (387+1168) beat Ekaterina Kazionova & Deniza Marcinkevica (RUS/LAT) CR 2092 (1188+904) 6-4 7-5

That will be a new doubles CH for Emily, taking out her CH 382, to join her new singles CH.
