Will be interesting to see how Cam does here, obviously in good form coming in here. What's his best round( that he's reached) at Challenger level?

2nd Round in the 2014 West Lakes Challenger, where he qualified with a win over a young Alexander Zverev, and beat 6th seed Matt Reid before losing to Matthew Barton.

R1:  Cam Norrie & Finn Tearney (NZL) UNR (0 [but a CH of 803 from May 2014]+523) vs Félix Auger-Aliassime (he's not 16 until next month!) & Brayden Schnur (CAN/CAN) UNR (0 [but a CH of 412 from September 2014]+1304)  bleh

And if Cam & his Kiwi partner survive that encounter, they'll play the top seeds, Matt Reid & Andrey Golubev, in the QF!

R1:  (4) Luke Bambridge & Lloyd Glasspool CR 509 (280+229) vs (WC) Jack Mingjie Lin & Benjamin Sigouin (CAN/CAN) UNR (1179+0)

2-2* in the 2nd set but both livestream and livescores seem to have disappeared.

What a battle in the decider!  The Yank served for it at 5-3, but Cam recovered the break to.  He went 0-40 down in the next game & survived God alone knows how many more match points only eventually to succumb!

L32: (1) Bjorn Fratangelo (USA) WR 112 (CH = 99 last month) beat Lloyd Glasspool WR 303 (= CH) 6-2 7-6(6)

9 double faults and a first serve percentage of 37% probably didn't help Lloyd's cause.

Good to see that Cam is not far off being able to maintain a points total playing at challenger level. I am sure he is disappointed but running a player on the cusp of the top 200 so close and beating a couple at 350 ish gives you a pretty good idea of the genuine level he's at and something on which to build through the summer.

Given that serving stat, the scoreline is still pretty competitive.
