The new routine of a 25k(or better) every other week seems to be working well for Amanda. She has 12pts to come off by mid-September and has covered 9 of them already.

First time I've seen Alice play, and I wasn't very impressed.

Saw them play last year on feed in Spain and they seemed complementary. Alice has had a dire 6 months - was ranked near to 400 now 700s. At the moment she couldn't win a match to save her life, but she has talent. Mandy had a bad spell and lost 100 places but has bounced back.

Very difficult to know how how it all works. Good luck to them both smile

Yes, Alice's individual form must be a bit of a concern to the practicalities and dynamics of their doubles partnership going forward. And although I haven't seen them playing together one would imagine some of that lack of singles form and / or confidence would cross into her doubles play.

The fact that Mandy and Alice are jointly ranked WR 335 tells how they have been solidly together over the last year and indeed longer.

But their singles form has been drifting apart with Alice struggling lately to make any impact at 25K level or above, clearly the level they want to operate re doubles and Mandy's singles. Must make things tough for her unless she has exceedingly good support.
