How long does Cam still have at college? He seems more than ready to give the tour a full go. Or do others think that he'd be better equipped developing for a bit longer with the odd forray into the tour?

Just finished his second year, I think. So two more years to go.

Many students however don't finish their degrees all in one go but 'bank' the credits for later.

Meanwhile, Cam has taken the first set 6-2

Congrats to Cam on a 6-2 7-6(4) win and he will now definitely boost our numbers in the Top 500 when these points are added.

And now Tommy Paul, the top seed, has been beaten. I fancy Cam to pick up another trophy this week. No pressure Cam

Great to see Cam doing so well

Has anyone seen any clear evidence of whether this is a 25K or a 25K+H yet? The ATP Challengers page lists it as a 25K+H and I've been treating it like that on the GB top 25 table but I'm not sure it really is - he'll now be around 460 if it isn't a +H, around 450 if it is.

Update: Apparently it's just a 25K, so I'm not sure what the ATP site is on about!

Yes, our apparent new GB #11 needs to know if he should fear for his position

Oh and well done, Cam. Says so much that this latest very good win probably comes as no great shock.

I can't believe it, who is this bandit outside the top 500 duffing up rising stars on the futures tour. Hopefully he will keep doing it right through the summer and into the west coast challengers in the Autumn. Great week so far.

His opponent in the final, Jared, is another strong college boy.  Has just finished his senior year at illinois, Farris' old school.
