In shock news, not, tomorrow's Centre Court schedule has starting at 1 pm :

Federer vs Cilic, then
Tsonga vs Murray

I knew all along that Fed and Andy would be on centre - because I have tickets for no 1 tomorrow. Oh well, NVM, haven't seen any of the other 4 live before either.

Did Murray have his Court 1 match earlier in the tournament? I wasn't really paying attention.

I'm still a little traumatised from Murray's dismal returning against Federer last year, and if Federer is truly back in form (which he generally appears to be, despite his long lay-off - although he's yet to be properly tested) then I'm a bit concerned. Cilic and Raonic are the type of player Federer has struggled with in his old age, so will be interesting to see how he fares against them.

If Andy can get past Tsonga and Berdych, I'm not sure if I'd prefer Federer or Raonic in the final.

I'm leaning towards Federer's title, personally.

 I don't think he did.

I'm definitely nervous about Fed - more in a way than I was about Nole as Fed always hates losing to Andy and raises his game. Last year being a case in point, and then he played less well in the final against Nole.

BUT, the Lendl factor is back, and Andy has been much more focused. Look at the way he was at the French compared with Wimby. No mucking about, no big lapses in concentration to give underdogs a chance to get in. If Andy plays well, he's the better player for sure. It's just a matter of will he, and who's side will the crowd be on if it's Andy/Fed.

I'll let you all read it and come up with your own thoughts.

Well if it happens I hope Marcus uses the opportunity to fund his tennis and doesn't just give it up for fame. That would be so sadly ironical.

Wouldn't rush to the finals yet. Both have two matches to get through first. Tsonga is generally a good opponent but capable of matches where he's nearly unplayable. And top half seems very unpredictable.

Well, TMH was right so far; Fed a set and a break down to Cilic at the moment...

Raonic is just more consistent and leads Quarry by 6-4 7-5 after just over an hour. No linesmen in danger here yet

Is it my imagination or did Cilic just bottle it on the big points in the 4th set. I think he had 4 MPs in total and failed to get a single return over the net.

I am always reluctant to use such a phrase, especially when I see it being used for a live score match.

But having seen this happen most especially I think re the last second serve return when he was right in position for the return and I am not sure it got half way up the net, I think the evidence is there, Bob.

Fed winning in 5 sets must be a good result for Andy. Now can he (Fed) follow that up with 5 more in the semis....
