Weeks 26 & 27 - Wimbledon 2016 (grass) - doubles

Throughly behind the Edmund/Ward wildcard, similarly the Lloyd/Evo partnership and the Skupskis, our top players n both doubles and singles need supporting with doubles wildcards.

I agree with the DC comment and would award WC's to all the DC squad it allows potential pairings to be tested, who knows when we maybe forced into a team change through injury or loss of form. Not to look at possible contingency plans would be unprofessional in the extreme.

Sensational win for the Skupskis, finding possibly their best form of the season, just at the right time.

Jonny & Adil and Ken & Neal are in the same ( second ) quarter and have between them taken out half the seeds in that quarter and the top ones as well.

The remaining seeds are (12) Huey & Mirnyi ( in the Skupskis' bracket and (15) Cuevas & Granollers ( in Jonny & Adil's bracket ).

Not much rest for the lads from Liverpool - first up at 11.30

And well done, Lleyton - 19-17 in the third

Hoping they get a decent size partisan crowd on People's Sunday.  Court 3 should permit that.

Not in R2.  Perhaps from R3.

Brave effort.  One or two half-chances not taken.  hmm  Off topic the Yank umpire's pronunciation of Marach's & Martin's names was appalling.  furious

What a shame. But still, they have their first win as @SkupskiBros at slam level so we can still look upon this as a good tournament for them.
