Deary me she lost her mind a bit... At the changeover in the tie break didn't even realise she was serving for a few seconds. Barely 20 mins earlier I was all ready to congratulate her....!

Off for a comfort break now which seems eminently sensible. Hope she can come back stronger in the decider.

Early break down already and what I guess is a nasty blister now taped up on her right hand... Opponent not missing either

Needs something to happen...!

Gutting for Katie but then managed to catch the end of Harriet's match, was playing great and looked chuffed to bits, as she well should, with her win!

Not the best way to emulate your coach, admittedly no https://app.bitly.com/bitlinks/28XiCfz (at least he should understand, I guess) but she had a fair bit of difficulty yesterday closing out a player who'd lost 7 matches in a row, so it was never going to be easy to complete what would have been a career best scalp. I did think a set and 5-0 up (and when the dust settles on this, she needs to remember a good win yesterday and how well she played for a set and a half today! smile) would be enough to survive the wobbles.

Very sorry about what happened to Freya, though she has contributed to one GB win, I think, softening her up for Harriet. That makes it back to back career best ranking scalps for Harriet too, very impressive indeed biggrin

OMG. Horrible for Katie. That's going to hurt for a while.

Great win for Harriet. Saw some highlights of her playing Eastbourne last year and the girl has got some game.
