Needs to regroup quickly. Don't think she won another point in the set after that horrible miss on the 5th set point. Broken to love then Makarova holds to love for 5-7.

Tara with back to back dfs gifts Makarova 2 mps then saves both, winning 4 points in a row with quality tennis 4-5*
Makarova eases to 40-0, Tara saves another 2 mps before Ekaterina finally gets there on her 5th mp with a smash winner after Tara fails to take an opportunity to pass, earlier in the rally. 4-6

The wind seems to come and go. Several great points followed by a series of ugly misses as the ball isn't where the player expected it to be. Difficult to judge the quality of the match.

I think I've seen just about every professional match of Heather's that it's been possible to see, and that was about the worst I've seen her play.
No idea why, could be any number of things, but she was poor and lacklustre today in all departments.
The much vaunted grass season, when the specialist Brits come to play and take advantage of players unfamiliar with the surface... can we please be done with this notion now, and actively discourage our players from focusing on grass? No, of course not. That wouldn't be British, no, would it?
