The big question is where do they go to make up GB Q WC numbers beyond Broady and Choinski, even if neither of these push on enough to make MD WC cases.
With similar issues last year they went ( too? ) big for juniors in McHugh, Draper, Loffhagen and Matusevich. One year on, from these all but McHugh still have junior eligibility but apart from Jack, still feeling his way back and indeed having retired this week, these look to have less of a case now and there aren't really further up and coming juniors pushing cases this year.

I think if Liam wins today he and wardy have at least put themselves in the mdwc TBD list. Need to back it up and I think for both a decent show on grass or challenger tournie win would be a big tick. Not there yet only Jay and an if fit Andy (unlikely, I reckon we will see him in mixed only) , but good to see resurgence in past two weeks
So Sean Hodkin and Josh Rose (by my reckoning) will both be in the Wimbly quali place play-offs. Based on finishing top of the British Tour leaderboard as of 7th June.
With currently just 17 ATP ranked players we can be pretty sure now that every ATP ranked player we have will be at least a play-off direct acceptance if they want to be. There are 11 play-off DAs after accounting for the Wimbledon MD and Q DAs and initial WCs. So we will probably have to dip into the ITF rankings to fill the play-off DAs.
Anton Matusevich and Jack Draper are the two in pole positions in the junior rankings. Jack won't need a play-off WC though so if he is in the top 2 juniors on 17/06 then his will get reassigned to add to the one definite discretionary WC.
I'd personally give both Paul and Jack MDWC's along with Jay and Ward. I don't really think any other Brit can be justified. It would have been interesting to see Jan on the grass, but one match against Klein before the picks isn't really going to tell us too much and his ranking has obviously stalled due to injury these past couple of months, and, along with being a relatively new switcher, I'd just give him a QWC this year.
I guess there'll be a WC held back for a potential Ilkley winner like Stakhovsky last year, and then it's fairly subjective after that. Kudla got one last year largely because of his Halle SF run (he did reach the QF at Surbiton, but that's not really enough to turn heads), so perhaps there'll be someone considered for their performance last week or this week. I guess there's the old guard like Mahut and Brown who might be considered as well, rather than simply going next in - I've noticed Wimbledon have been promoting Dustin a fair bit on Twitter recently.

Anton and Jack are indeed the top two Brits in today's junior rankings. Jack certainly won't need a play-offs WC and indeed surely won't be in the play-offs at all.
So that means at least a 2nd discretionary WC for the play-offs. I've not seen or heard anything much from Anton of late to indicate whether he'll take up a junior ranking WC for the play-offs.
I think Paul's MDWC is virtually nailed on now. A performance today that has made everyone sit up. If there was any consideration of Jan C getting one, I think it's switched hands the last couple of weeks.

Hopefully.
I said a week or so ago that he would have to produce something quite spectacular to have any chance of a MD WC. I think he's pretty much been doing that.

If it isn't, it should be. Had he been American, he would have an MD WC into the US Open after his NCAA success, so there is every justification for giving him a Wimbledon WC. The only remaining question would have been "can he play on grass" but he has answered that question with aplomb this week.
Agreed, as per last week I agree with indi on Paul and hes delivered. I really hope he makes ilkley final, when I'm going, but that is probably too much just yet.
