Not sure on the scheduling. Why haven't they scheduled any L16 matches today? Last match in L32 close to finishing and forecast is mixed for tomorrow...

Very impressed with young Emily, Burger didn't turn up in the 1st set, but Em was top notch, 1st serve in particular is a huge weapon. 2nd set Burger wore down the Brit, putting more and more pressure on her, and eventually young Em buckled a little. 3rd set followed the same trend, until Em found a 2nd wind to get 0-40, but she couldn't quite get the break, otherwise it would have been very tight. Still though, if all goes to plan defo top 100 potential, but a dead cert top 200 player.

Sam had break points in every return game. Result is that despite saving a set point to hold for 4-5*, the set sneaks away with 3 more break points going begging in the final game (she's 1 from 10).

But she's right in this, could have won that set. Hope she can keep up a good level in the second set.

Nice start to set 2 with a love hold and now another hold

Shame, she absolutely could have taken the first set. Another step forward though and she deserves a QWC spot. Would stand a very good shot at a winning a couple of matches.
