Joe's really not having much luck in East Africa:

QR1:  (q1) Samuel Ferguson WR 1747 (CH = 1735 last September) vs BYE
QR1:  Patrick Foley UNR vs Joe Cooper UNR

If he gets past Patrick, he'll face young Sam in the FQR.  I guess the good news is that we're guaranteed a qualifier.

Think Joe's won his match in Mozambique. Shame it's against another British player but well done Joe all the same.

I say 'think' because my livescores has the score stuck at 6-2 5-2 to Joe. But the following match on that court has started. So I'm assuming the umpire just hasn't updated the gizmo.

So Joe v Sam F for a British place in the MD
