Cepede Royg and Minella pulled out so Em and Nao are in to play Schuurs/Voracova tomorrow.
Phew; here's hoping they can make the most of it
Yes, good stuff
Though given Em had hours ago tweeted a picture of the court and something about looking forward to playing with Hibino tomorow, I had already kind of assumed that she knew something that we didn't then know.
Two doubles from Emily give their opponents set points, they get it back to deuce, and Emily double faults for a 6th time in the set. Which isn't really ideal, particularly given they were 100% behind second serves that landed in the box.
5-7 0-0*
Blast.

That 12th game was the sucker punch it looked - handing the set to their opponents on a plate with those double faults
Second set fades away very quickly and they go out 7-5 6-0
Frustrating, that really was another winnable tour match to go with last week. Missed opportunities to get back up into the top 130, but then 24 hours ago they weren't even in the draw.
No idea if Em will try and rush back to London for pre-qualies or not. Hard to see her coming through on current form in any event, but maybe, just maybe, she can find something.
Will this pair get one of the last Wimbledon slots? I hope so, they are a good pairing, it's just not quite come together at the moment it really needed to.
