 So why isn't Jo first on? it seems ridiculous that they schedule a 2nd round match before a 1st round especially given Jo may have to play 3 times today.

The second round match ahead of Jo's round one match has completed, Jo's match is scheduled and... immediately suspended.
Hard to fathom hat the Edgbaston schedulers are playing at, I can only think that they thought the first matches might get interrupted (as they did), and that they would put Jo on an indoor hard if that happened.
Is it the case that if you start on grass you have to finish on grass, or could you finish the match indoors if needs be?

Jo is playing terribly. It's like we've gone back in a time machine to 12-18months ago
