In Evo's match, the first set went to a tie-break, which, sadly, PHM took by 10-8.  cry

That tie breaking was frustratingly predictable.

Served for the set, broken.

Lead *5-4 in the tie breaker... 5-5
Lead *7-6 in the tie breaker... Lose 10-8

Still, live in hope. He hasn't lost yet

I'm sorry to say that Evo really threw that set away. A terrible game when serving for it and awful on all 3 set points he had in the tie break (one was on serve) just making basic errors.

Just seemed inevitable. Evans ahead for basically the entire set, edged ahead several times in the tie break and then PHM takes his first set point after a marathon breaker.

6-7 0-2 :(

All going pear-shaped:  PHM *2-1 in the second.

Agree with Rustie. Evo got a mini break lead three times but squandered it on the very next point on all three occasions and he made really poor errors on all 3 set points. He just never looked like seeing the set out.

But he gets a break (to 15) to level the set:  *2-2.

But Gilou bags the second by 6-3 to take the match into a decider.
