This would have been a good win even at the peak of Sam's ranking.
Shame the comeback didn't come a few months earlier, or we could be possibly be arguing about Sam for SW19 MDWC, but as it is, it's highly unlikely she'll accrue enough points in the short window she's had.
Going well though, and a nice tonic to the predominating malaise of yesterday for the ladies around the UK

As it is Sam will do well to get a qualifying WC though keeping winning would help.

She looks a good bet though to come through the qualifying WC play-offs if that's the route she has to go.

Wow Sam that's brilliant, as others have said that would have been a terrific result at her career high.

I think she should come through pre-qualies fairly comfortably.
