Well done Sam Murray!
She becomes the 5th different Brit to defeat KCC in a third set decider, as well as, obviously, and famously, Heather; Mel, Bally & Naomi B all did so previously.

This would have been a good win even at the peak of Sam's ranking.
Shame the comeback didn't come a few months earlier, or we could be possibly be arguing about Sam for SW19 MDWC, but as it is, it's highly unlikely she'll accrue enough points in the short window she's had.
Going well though, and a nice tonic to the predominating malaise of yesterday for the ladies around the UK
