Main draw is now out & Dan's the Man!  It looks kinder than in Manchester, although he has 30-year-old Tobias Kamke (SE) (WR 155/CH = 64 in January 2011) in his quarter.

L32:  (1) Dan Evans WR 91 (CH = 86 last month) vs Alexander Sarkissian (USA) WR 157 (= CH)

L32:  (4) Bjorn Fratangelo (USA) WR 103 (= CH) vs (WC) Lloyd Glasspool WR 310 (= CH)  bleh

L32:  (WC) Alex Ward WR 253 (= CH) vs (7) Wu Di (CHN) WR 148 (CH = 140 in April)

L32:  (6) Tim Smyczek (USA) WR 121 (CH = 68 in April last year) vs (WC) Liam Broady WR 248 (CH = 158 in August last year)  bleh

L32:  Aldin Setkic (BIH) WR 209 (CH = 191 last December) vs (WC) Ed Corrie WR 402 (CH = 215 in October 2014)

L32:  Brydan Klein WR 228 (CH = 169 last September) vs John-Patrick Smith (AUS) WR 151 (CH = 108 last September)

For what it's worth, Bjorn Fratangelo is that rare bird, a non-European, non-Latin American who actually prefers clay. So it may not be as bad for Mr Glasspool as it looks. Tim Smyczek, on the other hand, I seem to recall quite likes grass. No idea about Alexander Sarkissian, Wu Di or Aldin Setkic.

Reassuring re the Frat boy.  According to their bios on the ATP site, Sarkssian's favourite surface is hard, but there's no mention of a preferred surface for either Wu or Setkic.
