Not the first time that Evo has got into a fight with a British crowd and it probably won't be the last. There is a certain type of British tennis fan, mainly middle class fuss buckets, that have never taken to Evo and the feeling of dislike clearly cuts both ways.

Yeh that makes sense, especially if there were a lot of tennis club busybodies watching on. Well I can't see him enjoying Queens/Eastbourne in that case, Wimbledon wont be so bad unless he's on a show court

It is Nottingham not Eastbourne for the men this year and he does like playing there although it still attracts a few of the insufferable moaners who think tennis is a hobby and that everybody should always be impeccably behaved on court.

Ed Corrie is now playing Dustin Brown. This is not (alas) on a streamed court. But from the live scores, it seems a good match: 2-2 and currently Advantage to Mr Brown, though before when I looked it was Advantage to Mr Corrie.

I'm with RJA on this one. One of the reasons we don't attract casual fans to tennis and ultimately any world class tennis players is the middle class attitude to the game in this country illustrated perfectly by Wimbledon and Queens and such like. When I lived in Australia I couldn't believe the difference in the way it's played and how good a tournament the Australian Open is. They also look after the players like no other slam listen to the top players the way they describe it for
example. The US Open is the only slam
I've not attended (2017 I'm going though) but I believe there is a similar feeling with that as well.

Evo is Evo and perhaps doesn't behave the best at times but you can't blame him the way the crowd behave sometimes.
