Yes, I have come round to courtsiding being very much the betting conpanies' problem rather than tennis. They have enough ruddy ranges of betting that really do they need such as point by point bets that are currently open to being taken advantage of, or just have betting on future points / events and close betting down soon enough or temporarily at times e.g. yes the whole match odds would move on the result of a set point - close the match odds down at that point and reopen again when less significant.( I think some maybe do this at times ).
And while yes maybe have signs and make requests not to use phones ( debatable the more I think about it ) but what Jiwan describes with heavies constantly on the watch and clambering over seats to get at people suggests a pretty awful unattractive atmosphere at times. Quite apart from as suggested any real courtsider being likely rather more subtle and just carrying on.
Tennis has its own particular problems with its own players that the the TIU needs to use its resources for and these security were wasting time and money in not tennis's problem.
If such intolerance is being sought by the betting companies tennis should really tell the betting companies where to go !
Hey, I din't seem to have just come round, I've gone for it full kilter

Just love watching Alex Ward play, unbelievable point to break in second set, chasing down a drop volley and chasing down another shot not facing the net to hit a passing shot winner.
Yes, agree that from the bits I've dipped in and out to see, he's playing very nicely indeed. Good serving. And a beautiful cross-court backhand towards the end of the first set that saved a crucial point. Now 7-5 6-3.
But how frustrating is it that they put Becker and JP Smith on the other streamed court, and not Alex Ward?!?! I worked out that he had broken Falla in the second set just by hearing the volume of applause on the centre stream. But really ....
