What a week for Tara.

Those weeks slogging it out on the clay may have benefitted her game.

Hopefully a title to finish the week.

I'd be very surprised if Tara took a set of Riske never mind won the event.

The winners of the grass 50ks and challengers generally get a WC if they haven't automatically qualified. I don't think runners up have ever been given wildcards, but Tara is making a strong case for consideration.

Tara broken early on, but has break points...

If her serve stats hold up, I think this could be a close contest. Very rare for a wildcard to beat a No1 seed though, and Riske seems to do well on grass...
