Out-aced Oceane, and under-DFed her. Fantastic.

Tara had a really good year on the grass last year, and picked up 49 points. That's 48 of them defended.

As there's supposed to be a Wimbledon wildcard for the winner of this tournament, and the other finalist doesn't need one, I presume that Tara now has one.

She now moves to GB4 in the rankings, on provisional WR278.

Wow..... Tara really good on grass! I almost forget she played really well against top players on grass.... I guess mentally she was not ready otherwise she could win those matches.

Now moves level with Katy on 157 points, with Amanda on 152 points, although the live-tennis.eu site only has Tara of the three's points right ( seemingly ignoring Katy's points from Japan last week and giving Amanda an extra one ). I find the S T E.V E N. a rather better updater.

I have doubts about whether reaching the final here to someone that doesn't need a Wimbledon WC will mean Tara gets one, great for her if it does though. But she is anyway putting together an increasing case if she still hasn't got one.
