Or match imbalanced at one set all, it seems to veer wildly from one to the other. First Tara dominated, then Vekic, and now Tara's gone back to 2-0 up in the third. HOpe she can keep the momentum now!

Great win against a top 100 player. She moves up to a provisional WR296, our sixth woman inside the top 300.

As noted above, this is her best points score since 2013, and after some very good grass form in 2015 leaving her very unlucky not to get a Wimbledon WC, this might place her as the best of the candidates in 2016.

In both of the upcoming semifinals, she's picked the best available of the possible opponents - the stronger ones seem to me to be all in the other halfs.

Either title, singles or doubles, would be the biggest of her career.

Beginning to look like we might be heading back towards the possibility of getting 10 women in the top 300, which if I recall correctly we achieved in 2010, but not sure if we have since...?

If Sam, Gabriella, Katie S, Freya and Lisa continue as expected, and Laura regains some mojo, I think it's a challenging but reasonable target for the end of the year.

OK, not really since Katy and Tara had been inside the top 300 before and Mandy had been WR 300 previous to her recent rise.

10 this year is a bit too optimistic for me, I don't see it more particularly with some of the names mentioned, but yes some clear further possibilties.
