 Ashley Barty is doing very well (beating Ula Radwanska 3&0 yesterday too) but the pattern of this match did seem strange with Daniela collapsing from 3-3 *40-0 and sure enough she has retired. Always annoying when a player beats a Brit then retires in the next round.

The aces count provides a good clue as to why Garcia Perez has chosen Eastbourne over a clay alternative but Lisa doing a great job keeping it even so far.

Lisa broke at 1-5* and held for 3-5* but yesterday's Houdini act couldn't be repeated unfortunately as she goes down 3-6 in the 3rd :(
