Matches played in 2016, singles and doubles, and excluding the last 2/3 weeks, as the WTA hasn't published up-to-date results yet...

Konta 30
Watson 32
Broady 44
Carreras 42
Dunne 27
Moore 60
Robson 14
Christie 32

And therein both a symptom and a cause of Laura's problem.

At this point, I think it will get better for her when her SRs run out, and she will have to aim to play 4 or 5 matches per week at 25k level.

I would fear that, if she doesn't get a Wimbledon wildcard, then whoever took "her" place would have to face the s***storm of the fortnight from the Daily Mail. So for PR purposes alone, it might be better for all the others if Laura does get one of the available tickets, so that the Daily Mail can get the photographs that it needs.

In all honesty can you see Laura entering 10ks. Not a full quota of umpires. Hardly any crowd. Fetching and picking up your own balls in some god forsaken places that they have to go to.
I don't think so. Like someone said earlier she still thinks she is one of the best. And Nottingham is just a small tournament.
Come on can you really see her in a 10k.
I would put her at bottom of list behind everyone that's gone out to all corners of the globe won matches and getting their ranking up on merit. Not just by turning up.
But who am I. No one.

And the proof of that is where?
