She should come through that match, however Gabi is likely to play Olga Pushkova in the next round, who was a top 50 player back in the day(2007)

Fortunately Gabi won't have to play Olga now. smile There are only two Q rounds, and in the FQR both her potential opponents are UNR local players, one only 14 years. Olga is the 4th Q seed and in the next set of brackets down.

It does help if I can read the draw sheet properly....

For a second there i thought Gabby was trailing 6-0 3-0 when her opponent retired.
