Weeks 21 & 22 - French Open 2016 (clay) - doubles

Jossanna play second on 3

I was really surprised at Naomi's poor performance - perhaps she was already thinking about the next round? Normally, amongst other things, very good at the net; and awful today.

Slight worry about JoKo - she and Nestor have withdrawn from the mixed; and Nestor is still fit enough for men's doubles. Hope she's just decided to prioritise grass prep, over clay mixed.

If Joss and Anna can match their 3 & 4 defeat by the Chan's at the Australian Open, I think that will be a good result, all things considered.

After a fruitless roadtrip to Paris last year, as unused ALTs, Jossanna may be pleased to be our last ladies standing this year.

They're next up on Court 3, with streams available.

Ray's Miss (according to the umpire) lost 6-3, 6-2.

Generally much better performance today, with the Chans taken to deuce on every single second set service game. If Joss back closer to 100% for the grass season, they may do well.

Jamie has a good doubles partner.
