Not 15-30, or 30-30, or any of that. There were 30 points played, of which Fran won 16.

She has a doubles coming up, against two women who won a single game bteween them, to 24 lost, in singles today.

Wow, that was indeed some comeback from Fran, fully agree with AliBB. Last time I looked - before getting caught up in Murray's epic 5th set - Fran was 1-3 down in the 3rd, her first serve was falling away, and she looked down and out. I really did NOT expect to come back and see she'd won the last 5 games to win the match, including I assume a very long final game. This is a very, very good win for a 15 year old, and extremely promising to already have a 774 rank as a scalp!

Although my call had been as much re Salas as re Fran (although that's always the best, if possible).

But the odds were great and it's a super 'ker-ching' moment for all GB betters

A great couple of weeks, both in juniors and adult, for the young lady from Yorkshire (with Spanish overtones).
