Fantastic from Suzy, some comeback from her. She's having a good little run here. Fran started well but lost her way in the first set. Struggled with her serve - only about 1/3 first serves in and 1/3 points won on both 1st and 2nd serves. Hope she can improve on these stats 2nd set and get back in the match.

Don't think Fran's match is one for the servers - so far each has lost two service games in the 2nd set, and Fran has won only 2 points on her serve, and her opponent 1!

Maia now has the short straw against Pemra Ozgen, whilst from the other two as Strongbow notes, one will be a semi-finalist. Today Suzy beat the conqueror of the 2nd seed, so it was a very good result from her.
