Superb job. Interesting that people were saying she was playing 'terribly' yesterday. End result was 46 winners to 35 unforced errors. I think considering the conditions that she was playing ok yesterday - just didn't play the biggest points well - and today she played excellently.

Nice quick and 'I didn't even think about she's my doubles partner' brutal. Some lovely smashes and forehands and no serious unforced error today. Congrats Heather, that's any monkey about the Rio entry out of the way now, just give Kuznetsova more of today's play and who knows what might happen?

Hope she can go on here to play with lack of pressure and growing confidence, and make the second week. She could make the seedings at the next Slam with a run to the QFs here; and I don't think this is a very strong quarter, and her game suits clay.
