Just wanting to ask a quick question and wasn't sure where to post it:
Does anyone know how long the BBC coverage of Wimbledon stays on iplayer? (I am in Porto visiting family for the first 10 days of Wimbledon. Really gutted to miss the first week - my favourite week of the year. I hope some of the main matches will be on TV there but am not sure especially since my family stopped subscribing to sports channels on cable).
From what I remember they don't add the livestreams of the outside courts to iplayer - which means I will probably matches played by people like Evo and Kyle unless they get to play top players or get some wins - even if I wait and watch everything when I return. I just wanted to plan whether it is worth trying to ignore all early result so I can watch matches when I get back without already knowing what happens.
SO disappointed I didn't manage to book the trip for a different week!

I can't find what happened with Wimbledon in previous years, but for some sports (like the European Swimming Championships), it's 7 days, but for others (like the Women's FA Cup Final), it's 30 days. It could go either way.
Catch up on programmes from the past 30 days (not just 7)
When iPlayer first launched, most programmes were available for seven days after they were on TV.
Now, after much public demand, extensive negotiations with rights holders, and a complete rebuild of iPlayer, weve made most programmes available for 30 days.
Why are programmes available for 30 days?
To put programmes on iPlayer, we need to pay the people who made them. And we want to give you the best value for money.
Making programmes available for longer than 30 days would cost more, and mean there would be less money for making new programmes.
So one can extrapolate that if at all possible we should get coverage on i player for 30 days
