From 0-2* down, to 3*-2 up...

This would be a career best title for Freya, and equal best for Harriet...

Great week for Harriet so far.

Hopefully they can lift the doubles title.

Congrats to Harriet and Freya, they win 6-3 6-2. A wonderful day for Harriet especially after her SF singles win, hope she can keep it going tomorrow!

Team {Chart, Heya!, Freda, Fart, Artie, Harrieya etc} win!

A second Brit $25K dubs title of the week. That doesn't happen too often, I imagine.

That is Harriet's singles ranking. Her doubles ranking was higher-332

Wonder if thee 2 will be paring up for the grass season now?

Good to see Freya get something out of the week. Hopefully she can get some bigger points in the singles next week.

And good luck to Harriet in the final tomorrow.

You're right, they are all the wrong rankings, DF, I read the wrong line on the livescores.... I'll correct them all now!

Freya's winning streak moves on to 8 doubles matches, and she should be up to around 320 when the rankings update: for Harriet this is the best possible replacement score for her 2015 25k title, so she will remain at around 332.

This must augur well for next week, and the grass season. After Freya reaching the Junior SFs in 2015, she might well be in consideration for a Wimbledon MD doubles WC. In her last 10 doubles tournaments, going back to October, she's won 5 titles. That's pretty good.

As for poor Harriet, while her mate KD seems to require a diet of exquisite sushi, clearly to get the best out of Harriet she needs to be kept on rotten cabbage buried in a pot for 6 months in the garden...

Any excuse to re-broadcast a title win is fine with me
