And the WC put out the third seed so Harriet now gets the Korean wildcard player.
Freya gets a 17 year-old who was JWR 35 and won a Grade 2 last October but has been playing only adult tennis really in the last 12 months and doing pretty well, making her way up nicely, but not spectacularly.
Good starts. Hope they keep on winning. Nice time for Freya to win a title.
I forget if she's won a 25k yet?
Steady on! She's not even won a $10K yet. Building on what Indiana wrote above, posted whilst I ws typing: Other than those players that additionally made the Top 100 (Annie K, Bally, Katie O'B, Naomi B, JoKo, Hev, Laura, Mel), very few Brits this millennium have won singles titles above $10K
I can think of:- Tara Moore - $25K Surprise, 2013 Sam Murray - $25K Glasgow, 2012 Naomi Cavaday - 2x$25K, Orange 2007; Brescia 2010 Georgie Gent - $25K Nuriootpa 2006 Louise Latimer - 2x$25K, Surbiton 2000, Hull 2000 Lucie Ahl - 2x$25K, Dublin 2000, Welwyn 2000 Julie Hobbs (neé Pullin) - $25K Cardiff 2001, $50K Gifu 2002 (She also won a second $25K in 1998)
I think I've missed at least one
They really are rarer than you suppose - Sam Smith only ever won one, her biggest title, in 1999, at Rockford
Lisa Whybourn hasn't won a $10K yet Jade Windley managed 3 $10K and so on...
Edit: Just out of interest here are the other players I checked, of those not still playing singles: Lorna Woodroffe, Jo Ward, Rachel Viollet, Jane O'Donoghue, Amanda Keen, Sarah Borwell, Jocelyn Rae, Hannah Collin, Joanne Moore, Karen Cross, Abigail Tordoff, Amanda Elliott, Nicola Slater, Anna Smith, Rebecca Llewellyn
That seemed to be the most likely suspects covered, unless anyone else knows differently.

Getting to the final of a 25k from a ranking in the 600's as a qualifier whilst still a junior (?) to me indicates someone who's likely to win a title or 2 at 25k or above.
Tough going so far. 7 BP conceded in Freya's opening two service games despite 66% first serve in. 0-3*
Manages to finally break free from the young Thai's spell, but surely too late to salvage the first set. *1-5
A first service hold sheds one more tiny chink of light on proceedings. 2-5*
Freya finding a groove now; a real match has broken out. *3-5
OK, so the first set is gone Just don't start the second as slowly as you did the opener! Broken 4 times in 5 services is a worry though; hard to win from there. 3-6
There is now, of course, a toilet break.

Just a break each in set 2, but now a hold is essential for Freya. 3-6 *4-5 Harriet starts very brightly *4-1
Freya bows out, having never quite got to grips with the match. The young Thai put heavy, telling pressure on Freya's service for most of the match. 3-6 4-6
